Take it further

Some progress on the Take it Further challenge front...
I printed two of my digital images on organza, then layered them on homedyed fabric. It must be almost impossible to take good pictures of this. Here is the best I could do today...
The next step is to embroider these.
I also want to try at least another technique for transfering the images on fabric. More on this later...

Looks interesting. So is the bottom image layered over the top image or are they 2 seperate pieces?

Sorry have no help in regards to photography. I tend to move my pieces around the place until I get the best picture. I am sure that sharon has blogged a link on her site about photographing your work before but as usual I am too lazy to bother

I am using a light background this round and finding it hard to photograph too.

This looks like a lovely start.

Francoise! I love the look of the layered organza. Did you fuse the organza down? Even tho your pictures aren't detailed, they convey such a soft and dreamy look (with those colors, too) -- really, really lovely.

I really like the soft touch of the the colors; as Diane mentioned, a sort of dreamy appearance - especially on the landscape. Eager to see the next steps.

This is going to be lovely Francoise. You are really enjoying this challenge! Organza is very difficult to photograph. Are you taking it in daylight or using flash? If you are try it without the flash.

It does have a dream-like quality to it. I'm looking forward to what you do next!
