This week, the TAST challenge is the chevron stitch. It's funny, but I think I had never used it before. So, yesterday, I made three postcards using only this stitch. There were some ghosts wandering on my last piece of fabric. I let one of them come forward.
Hi Francoise. I came to see these before but blogger would not allow me to comment. Now I can tell the world that this work is really even more wonderful in real life. Thanks for sending me one as a birthday card. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Mags
I like to play with fabrics, threads, dyes, paints and other funny things. I love books, animals, flowers and chocolate.
I have a dear husband, three sons and four beautiful grandchildren.

Your chevrons look fabulous. Does your ghost have a name?
These are lovely Francoise!
The last postcard is wonderful - simple yet powerful image. I've been surprised with the impact that a few hand stitches can have on a textile piece.
Lovely. I like the fabrics and threads and the way you use them.
Love the accentuated ghost most of all
love the ghost

I love the colours that you use Francoise and the thread is beautiful-What is it?
Lovely stitching, Francoise. Funny how we see things in our fabric.
Thanks!
The threads are Caron Wildflowers cotton and DMC Mouliné stranded cotton.
Your colour scheme is glorious, and I love your ghost!
Love your stitching - thanks for sharing them

How wonderful Francoise. As always I just love the wonderful colours you have used and your stitching is just so neat!
I agree - go with the ghosts when they pop up.
