A new quilt

I made a first quilt top with the fabrics I screen-printed last month. It's about 40 cm by 60 cm.
Here are some close-up shots.

I haven't decided yet how to quilt it. I plan to do another quilt, but first I must print more fabric.

In the meantime, I've been playing with Provence fabric scraps.

This is a beautiful use of your surface designed fabric. I will be very interested to see how you quilt it.
I always struggle to get a balance between surface design and quilting. I haven't done any surface design for a while, but would love to get back to it.

I like the strong color of the fuchsia! The printing is so visually interesting and it reminds me of walking through this section of Okinawa where there were rows of cherry trees.
