Here are a few pictures of rust I took some time ago as inspiration for the next Twelve by Twelve quilt. The colour scheme is "rust with a blue-green patina". 
I found these candidate fabrics in my stash... 
Not much, and nothing really exciting... So, this week, I played a bit with my dyes and I got this...
This is much better. I'm beginning to see a new quilt...
