Except for the red, the pieces were not big enough for experimenting, so I decided to have a little dyeing session yesterday...
I usually don't like green very much, but I'm rather pleased with those ones. I also dyed a piece in bright yellow, but forgot to photograph it.Here's a photo of the towel I used to mop the spills...
I now have enough fabric to start playing but I must admit I'm not very much inspired by these colours at the moment. I wrote down a few ideas but nothing really exciting... Maybe I need a little break, or maybe I have other things on my mind...Tomorrow is our 30th wedding anniversary. I can't believe time is passing so fast.
In the meantime, I took some new pictures of my turquoise quilt before parting with it.
I cannot get the right colour yet...

Your green looks perfect!
The new 12 x 12 colour scheme looks very challenging! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
bonne fête ! ça fait déjà un bon bail !! et qui sait .... l'inspiration viendra peut-être avec la coupe de champagne ??
Your fabrics look so wonderful in the sudsy water. Whenever I dye I always like the fabrics best when they are wet.
Happy 30th wedding anniversary!!
The colors of fabric look fantastic to me!
I wish I had skills like you...
Oh dear, you are putting me to shame. I'd better go and pull the lorikeet fabrics and start thinking about a plan!
I love the details of the finished turquoise quilt. Wonderful stitching detail.
Congratulations on your 30th Wedding Anniversary!
Turquoise is such a difficult colour to get on the computer.
