I've been working on my purple and yellow 12x12 quilt this week. I did the machine quilting today. Here's a little preview of the top...This is the back of the quilt... Tomorrow, I'll begin with the hand quilting. And this is a daisy print which didn't work out very well, so I'm using it as a sample to test my stitching... Now, I'm thinking of using this nice piece of dyed fabric to make a second purple quilt. But I just saw that there is a crease where the colour faded a bit... And these are fabrics I plan to use in my turquoise quilt. I've put them on my desk so I can think about it when I'm tired of seeing purple and yellow ...
I like to play with fabrics, threads, dyes, paints and other funny things. I love books, animals, flowers and chocolate.
I have a dear husband, three sons and four beautiful grandchildren.
