Today, I quickly printed some of my dyed fabrics for the Kilauea 12x12 quilt. I used black fabric paint and did some monotyping. I don't like the last one, but I might nevertheless use tiny pieces of it in the quilt. I am still thinking of using Hokusai's work as inspiration. I was at the British Museum last week. Unfortunately, my favourite Hokusai's prints were not on display. But I was really impressed by the new Great Court and I fell in love with the Assyrian wall sculptures from Nimrud.
I like to play with fabrics, threads, dyes, paints and other funny things. I love books, animals, flowers and chocolate.
I have a dear husband, three sons and four beautiful grandchildren.
