We spent a few days in the lovely Champagne region.
We did lots of walking and biking. I took hundreds of pictures.
And we visited the cathedral of Reims.
Very impressive...
And lots of inspiration for the next 12x12 quilt.
This gorgeous rosace has 12 branches. There is also a beautiful old clock (12 hours) inside the cathedral, and of course many stained-glass windows representing the 12 apostles.

I loved visiting the Cathedral of Reims before the digital age!! My photos are all in an album. It is good to have you back and so happy you enjoyed a lovely vacation.
So inspiring!
Lovely Photos, I can quite see how inspiring those wonderful cathedral windows would be for your quilts, amazing shapes.
