It's pouring like hell, and the dog wants to be outside...At the same time, it's very sunny inside... I'm listening to the new Cat Stevens' cd while cutting and pinning. And here is what's on my design board...
I'm beginning to see where I'm going to with my new 12x12 quilt...Next is the quilt I almost hated the other day. I don't like it very much yet, but I've sponged some dark turquoise paint in a few spots and it's getting better.
Now, it's ready to be quilted.Yes, it's my foot there on the table... ;-)

Ooh, I really like how you are integrating the photo into your piecing.
I love the warm colours in that quilt top. (It's very frosty here this morning!)
Did you think about lifting the second quilt with some foiling?? Or maybe a highlight with some iridsecent markal oilstick?
