A foretaste of Christmas

Yesterday, I made my first Christmas fabric postcards of the season...Ok, it's a bit early, I know,... but in our shops, Christmas is already competing with Saint Nicolas... This morning, I bought a "cougnou". It's a typical Christmas bread here. If you google it, you'll find lots of recipes... in French...
I think I'm slowly coming out of my lethargic mode... Yesterday also, I did some discharge experiments on black and on navy.

The first discharge experiment is really different. How did you do it?

These discharge pieces look almost chocolate-y...

I have the same question as Kristin (how did you get the effect in the first discharge)! I was trying to figure out what would produce that effect, but I'm baffled...

The Christmas postcards are beautiful Francoise--and I am always amazed at the different effects we get when using bleach

The discharge pieces are great, especially love the top one. The painted hanky is very sweet, it would be lovely as part of a quilt.

The bottom discharged fabric is fantastic Francoise. I also think you should use the images on the hankie in something, they are beautiful.
