Of course, I couldn't resist buying a few goodies at the Festival of Quilts. I bought mainly fibers I cannot easily find around here, and also some Japanese fabrics.
A few books... Actually I was surprised to find 7 of them when I unpacked my suitcase...
"Handmade embroidered purses", by J. Rolfe, "Finding your own visual language", by J. Dunnewold, C. Benn and L. Morgan, "Complete feltmaking", by G. Harris, "Inspiration Plus", by B. Curtis, "Between the sheets with Angelina", by A. Midgelow-Marsden, "Tray Dyeing", by L. Morgan and C. Benn, and "Cover to cover", by S. Laplantz. This should keep me busy for a little while!
I also got a few jars of Treasure Gold metallic wax, transfoil, and... I think that must be it.

nice shopping! not quite as much as I bought, but I didn't get any books, so you beat me there... I hope you had fun.
Wonderful, colorful goodies! I just bought "Finding your own visual language" and hope to find time to do a few of the exercises. I've had "Cover to Cover" since my previous life as a graphic designer -- it's a must-have for book artists! I've been eyeing the "Tray Dyeing" book. The cover fabric is just so luscious :-)
Great goodies! You will have fun with those and reading the books.
We could definitely go shopping together! I think I can see some Sari yarn in there... love that!
You did really well in Birmingham and I wish I'd been there. I always buy loads when I go to these exhibitions.
What tasty colors you have there, I bet they are going to be so much fun to play in.
Some great food for thought there in the books and tools for your trade and treasures to fondle an ooh and ahh over. You did well. Did the geese enjoy the show?
Down here the geese are usually the flying sort on someones quilt!
