This page will be for Sue. It's 9'' by 9'', but you see a little less than this on the picture.
I needlefelted wool on homedyed fabric. There are also some silk fibers and organza in this needlefelt. The textured material on top is tyvek. I ironed it, then painted and embroidered it
Tyvek is also this month challenge at FiberArtFriends.

this is so wonderful - the colour and the tyvek - I love it
Yummy, Francoise! I love purple.
It is lovely Francoise. I love that purple. And the added tyvek pieces are great texture.
Oooh this looks lovely. The colors are so rich and beautiful. I'm looking forward to playing with tyvek too.
I'm with everyone else -- that purple is luscious! There must have been melted Tyvek fumes wfting across western Europe because I worked with recycled envelopes today too. I have a heat gun that you would normally use for melting embossing powders; I'm finding that it works great for making bubbly Tyvek.
I love what you have done with the Embellisher and the Tyvek Francoise.
Lovely Francoise, Sue will be thrilled
It's fantastic! I can't wait to see it in person. I love it!
Wonderful Francoise. I love the colours. You've made me want to go play with Tyvek now :))
what lovely colour!! I get many inspirations! Thanks Barbara
