I didn't have much purple roving. So I mixed red and blue rovings, and I finished with a thin layer of purple. I added a few snippets of yarns and ribbons. Here's a closer look:

I forgot to say that the I used a nappy liner as the base of the felt. But you can't see it anymore, it's completely covered on both sides.
