The next colour scheme/theme for our Twelve by Twelve group is "Kilauea". It was chosen by Kristin who lives in Hawaii. I must admit that if I think of Hawaii, I think of sandy beaches and huge waves, but not of a volcano. And if I think of volcanoes, I think of Hokusai and his prints of Mount Fuji...Anyway, I looked in my boxes and found a few fabrics that could match Kristin's colour scheme. I decided I need to overdye some of the lighter ones. That's as far as I went up to now.
And about this new 12x12 colorplay series, I am thinking of making a small fabric book. One page for each quilt. I already made two pages using leftovers of the first two quilts. Let's see if I can carry on with this idea...
