Strawberries, quilts, and a baby

Here's what I did this afternoon...
Except for this, I spent most of this week working on small quilts I want to finish before the end of the month. Here are a few peek shots...
This one is almost finished, and I'm rather pleased with it.

The next one is ready to be quilted. I like it, but I don't know yet how to stitch it. The quilting has to be simple, I think.
And then, this one... At the moment, I almost hate it! I might quilt it by machine and then throw it in a dyepot, or overpaint it. I've always wanted to try something like this but never dared up to now...

And yesterday, I took a break in my sewing because I had to take care of this little angel. She's almost two months old now.
She was very good. In the morning, we had a stroll in the neighbourhood and afternoon, she took a nice little nap despite the very hot weather.

How could I look at the other photos when you have photos of your beautiful granddaughter to look at.
Francoise she is adorable.

She is so cute, my girls had dark hair like that. I think you should over dye the whole piece, since you don't love it, it's a good time to experiment

You certainly have a precious little beauty queen. So adorable! Your experiment is very interesting....good luck. We just finished the strawberry season here and now in the peach season. Isn't spring and summer a fun time?

Your granddaughter is so beautiful!

So you will overdye a completed quilt? I’m curious!!
I love it as it is, but when you’re not happy, give it a try!
