Here's what I did with the fabrics I selected for the April Take it Further Challenge...And now to the design wall...The quit top is done...The "sandwich" is ready. Now I have to find some oriental inspiration to embellish it.
I love the design and the colours are delicious. You works are so perfect. Can't wait to see the finished challenge. I also love oriental everything... Liz
This is really pretty -- and if you think about it, it's a log cabin block that changes -- so it fits the other part of the challenge as well. I look forward to seeing what you do with stitch.
I love how you've arranged the colours, Françoise, they're really harmonious with an 'edge' in the dark brown squares. I don't think I could ever be accurate enough for this !!
Oh, you made a bright looking quilt from those (imho) awful colours, Sharon gave us this month. I can't wait to see it embellished, it's such a nice one, already!
I like to play with fabrics, threads, dyes, paints and other funny things. I love books, animals, flowers and chocolate.
I have a dear husband, three sons and four beautiful grandchildren.

Francoise, this is awesome!
I agree with Kristin--I was looking at it thinking it looks like log cabin but it isn't--but I like it Francoise.
Love your design. What a lovely layout.
Pretty, pretty! Great combination of the colors!

Love the layout, nice balance of values, and I'm looking forward to the embellishment.

Lovely Françoise.
You want Oriental inspiration? How about bamboo? Cranes? Kanji? You could google them & get all sorts of design ideas for the quilting.
Wow, Francoise, the quilt is wonderful. I love the lay out, the colours, all of it. You've been busy! xx
Such beautiful colours. Well done!!!
Looks great Francoise, the other colours lift the browns, well done.
