Some news

I've been working on two quilts that I can't really show on my blog at the moment. This is why you're seeing pictures of flowers instead!
But I think it's ok to reveal a few details of what's hanging on the right part of my design wall...
Pretty colours, aren't they?
I hope the next one doesn't hurt your eyes...
Very pink, isn't it?

I've also spent some time weaving these days, still inspired by the visit of the Saori studio in Osaka last month. So now, my sewing dummy has got a new scarf. I'm not sure I'm going to wear it, but it was interesting to experiment with different yarns and colours.
I bought a 12 dpi reed for my little rigid heddle loom, so next time, I'll try to use thinner yarns.

I leave you with this picture of a strange looking guy I met today during my walk...

Pretty colours indeed!! Hand dyed fabrics? Yum!

Love to see your woven scarf! It’s a technique I never learned (yet).

Looks like the duck went to a new hairdresser?

Pretty, vivid colors that look like a lot of fun to work with! I like your woven scarf. Scarves are so fun to weave and there are so many possibilities :-)

je ne vois pas ce que tu reproches à ton écharpe!!! et le pink ... c'est très "girly" !
est-ce que le canard est juste en visite ? ou est-ce qu'il a donné rendez vous à la dame qui se cache :-)
