Pink, for a change

I am back online... Well, I was not really away. I was just busy with things too boring to make me feel like blogging.
Anyway, I'm now almost finished with the top of my rosebud quilt. You can see about half of it in the next picture.

And I'm ready to start working on a blue and white quilt (with a dash of black) for the next 12x12 challenge. But first, I need to dye some fabric. This blue is certainly not bright enough for the quilt I want to make...
This gorgeous sky above downtown Brussels would be more like it...
I was there the other day to visit a very good exhibition focusing on Chinese writing, in the Museum of Fine Arts. It was very cold and windy that day, but I'm glad I didn't wait until today to go to Brussels, because this is what greeted me when I got up this morning...
Yes, snow again! And we should have a little more tonight. I hope we'll also have some sunshine from time to time.

j'aime ton tissu bleu .... c'est déjà plus ressemblant à nos ciels 'normaux' ;-)
L'avantage de cette belle neige blanche ? On reste à l'intérieur trop occupée à nos petits textiles. Bon week-end !

Your rosebud quilt is gorgeous Françoise, I love the touches of turquoise. What a shame Justine did not win the Australian Open tennis last night.

It’s snowing again here as well, not that much, but it’s quite some Winter!
