Rose prints

I made two screens from the rosebud picture, and did some test prints on my deconstructed printed fabric. First, I used thickened dyes, then I did some kind of echo printing with fabric paint. Some of the images turned out rather good. I plan to use them in a second pink quilt (as soon as I find the time to do this!)
This is how the rosebud now looks in real life...
And Saint Nicolas came to our home this weekend... Like Gerrie (and her dog Scooter :-)), we are slowly getting into holiday mood here...
