Identity quilt, almost done

I'm busy with my new 12x12 quilt. I still need to add some quilting and embellishment. I didn't have enough fabric for the binding, so yesterday I had to play with my dyes...
And a few days ago, I had a little guest... She was a very good girl. She slept a lot, and she nicely agreed to model for a picture with one of my quilts. The little furry cat is one of the first soft toys her dad got when he was born, and the white blanket was also his.

Being with grandbabies is such a treat. And how wonderful to have your son's favorite things to use with this little darling.

The baby pictures always get more attention than the quilts! What a little beauty! You are in for good times with her.
