We started with a visit to Akihabara electronic town,... crazy and too noisy for me, but certainly worth a short visit. Also for the few very big manga shops, if you are an otaku.
After a while, we went back to Ueno Park for a quiet walk...
Then, DH kindly told me it would be a good idea to go back to Nippori Textile Town... Off we went through the park in direction of Nippori Station. We took the pedestrian bridge over the tracks... 
... and we found the textile street again. All shops were open this time. I decided to visit only one... the famous "Tomato"... 5 (or is it 6?) floors packed with all kinds of fabrics. Here I am, trying to choose a few fat quarters as a souvenir...
We spent the rest of the day outside, walking in lovely Yanaka... This is a picture taken in the cemetery...
Next is Yanaka street, with lots of nice little shops selling food, fish, tea, sweets, handicrafts, handmade paper, books... I think we were the only gaijins there that day.
Oops, I almost forgot... Here are the fabrics I bought at Tomato. Mainly cute ones again, and a few traditional dark blue ones...
