Purple needlefelt

This is my sample for the current Needlefelt Challenge: "purple".
I didn't have much purple roving. So I mixed red and blue rovings, and I finished with a thin layer of purple. I added a few snippets of yarns and ribbons. Here's a closer look:
And this is the backside of the piece: I forgot to say that the I used a nappy liner as the base of the felt. But you can't see it anymore, it's completely covered on both sides.

Wow Francoise this is fabulous and the nappy liner seems to have made a good base as it looks great from both sides.
