Recovering

The mountains of laundry generated during last week are slowly eroding... So today, I started machine quilting my new little piece.
I'm also working on a new batch of kanji postcards for a swap.
I think this is my 100th post on this blog! Wow!... To celebrate this, I'll send a textile postcard to the first one asking for it. Just leave a comment on this post, and don't forget to leave me your email address!

Can you tell me what kanji is/means?

Kanji are pictograms or ideograms used in written Japanese. They come from Chinese. There are about 2000 official Kanji.
Written Japanese also uses Hiragana and Katakana. These are syllables.

Francoise, What fun to view your site! Can't wait to get one of the beautiful cards from our wool swap. Mine are in progress out in the kitchen. Hope to finish them in the next 2 days. : ) I enjoy your fun pictures. The waffles look delicious! Cindy in Maumee, OH from NotaBenePCQ group
