Handmade beads

This morning, I made a few Tyvek beads. It's really easy with a heat gun. I'm going to try other colours this afternoon. Good reference books for this technique are "Raising the Surface" by Maggie Grey and "Surfaces for Stitch" by Gwen Hedley.
Don't forget to wear your mask if you heat Tyvek!

Awesome! great colors. Now when I tried to do this I assure you my beads did not look as smashing as yours.

ooo these are superb! I agree about the mask...tyvek has made me feel a bit woosey from the fumes

Very nice! I guess it's time to go by a heat gun.

Love those beads...curious what did you use as a base to start the raveling process.

Those look like fun. I'm going to have to add those two books to my library.
